Oxbridge students

As everything seemed to be frozen in time in this scene, I decided to post it in Still Life. This painting was done from a photograph my Daughter sent to me, whilst studying at Worcester College, Oxford, it is of her friends from Oxford and Cambridge universities. It seems a simply idyllic moment of student life, sitting on the banks of the river discussing maybe their subjects, life or even what budget they have left to buy dinner that night – Who knows!?

‘Artists at Play – Mayday’

This watercolour was done from another colourful photograph my Daughter sent to me whilst she was studying at Worcester College, Oxford.
