The sun was shining, the sky was amazing and the flowers were blooming! The flower at the back even looks like its trying to fly off into the perfect day 😉 Our ten year old clematis is putting on the best show of its life so far! A few more pictures of our pergola, made by Dearest some years ago, plus a couple of close ups too ….

‘Edgworth over to St. Anne’s

This landscape, done in soft pastel, was done from a photograph I’d taken on a beautiful Autumn day. The colours were superb and I think I have just about done them justice in this landscape of a local countryside scene!

I was really pleased with this pastel drawing not just the perspective but the fantastic shadows and brightness of the day. If only there were more days like that!
