My mini ‘Stonehenge’ and a cute little golfer bathed in the morning sun
Okay!…maybe I don’t have fairies at the bottom of the garden…. just a lone stone golfer atop my ‘rockery’ 😉
That is so cool! Makes me just want to sit down and enjoy it.
Thanks so much Faye 🙂 I love my little Stonehenge folly, made quite a few years back, and, just recently reclaimed from the ivy that had grown over it. The little golfer had also been consumed by the rampant ivy and was a lovely surprise to see he had been placed on top by Dearest in his clearing up efforts! I think he deserves to stay up there as he looks so happy in the morning sunshine 😉
How cool is your ‘Mini Stonehenge’ ~ the golfer looks like he’s reveling in the morning sun 🙂
Aww thanks so much Mrs P 🙂 Over the years my little mini Henge had been somewhat of a wild corner of the garden, having let the self seeding poppies and ivy take hold! After a major garden clear up…which included exposing a HUGE arachnid (nope!! Yak!!…Just not going there in thought of it again…let’s just say it was a toss up which one of us jumped away from the other the furthest..;-/ ) I’m so happy to have it back and love that Dearest placed our little golfer on top, when he too was rediscovered in the wilderness 🙂
How beautiful is that…definitely just like a little area within a fairytale.
YAY So happy you like out little garden corner and really nice we have uncovered it from the overgrowth of ivy! Man!.. that ivy takes off at a rapid rate it was only planted to cover a fencing panel, but took over the whole corner! Maybe I still might have fairies down there, you just never know 😉
I hope so!!!!
Very nice! Not just a Rockery, but calling it Your Stonehenge! Great! 🙂
