A Unique hand quilted brushed cotton table runner in striking bold colourful cottons
My quest continues… Just how much further can I take my leftover bits of fabrics???!!!!!! This striking and uniquely beautiful creation as a table runner is probably the last large project-but still more to come from those flannel/brushed cotton fabrics!! But I am so happy with it !! Lots of thought, lots of sewing and a lovely result! Hope one day it makes a table feel super happy too!
I’ve been sat here wondering just how your fabric was going to be transformed …a table runner wasn’t one my list LOL you have taken me by complete surprise with this creative and breathtaking scrap busting make ~bravo Mrs T
YAY!! And Thank you sooo much! It’s good to know I’m not altogether predicable and boring 😉 I was really pleased with the little runner, I think it’s quite striking as a little centre piece and even amazed myself LOL
LOL some table will be well and truly graced by such a magnificent make
PS you boring ??? this is the woman who asked for 60 inches and 3 meters remember ? or some such measurements LOL
LOL you make me sound so exciting and interesting 😉
I hold a dream………that, perhaps?!?, one day…all my little creations WILL find their new loving home 😉
I have no doubt ALL your creations will succeed in finding loving owners who will take them home and give them pride of place, just think of the adventures that await them 🙂
It does give me great pleasure when lots of the purchasers have got in touch at a later date to let me know how happy they have been/or the person they bought it for was so pleased with their gift 😀
Now then, if the rest could move along before Dearest and I are stock overwhelmed..that would be great, otherwise we are destined for the shed quite soon LOL
As a seasoned crafter do you still suffer from ‘will it meet their expectations’ palpitations ??
OMGoodness Absolutely!!! I think it’s a good thing in some ways…as it keeps you on your toes a little more..!!..but, I could do without the stress. So far so good no-one has said they’ve been unhappy 😉
I’m not at all surprised you get rave reviews your work is amazing 🙂 When I’m crafting for a customer I’m on my toes sooo much I look like a ballerina on pointe
OK OK….LOL…. I’ve just returned after falling into a fit of giggles over your reply LOL LOL LOL 😀 I got such a vision of you teetering about in a Tu Tu whilst demonstrating how your creation would look for the customer I bet that look jolly well seals the commissions every time!!
Thank you too for your lovely comments Mrs P!!
Now I need to de-visualise the Tu Tu teetering LOL
OMGOONESS you saw me in my tutu on your spycam ???? …is nothing sacred LOL
Actually the spycam is only showing a close up of a dishcloth atm, probs ‘cos you’re working on the top secret VIO, me thinks 😉 twas just a lucky guess LOL
I have to keep smoothing my tutu down as the yarn keeps getting tangled on all the netting ….It will a look and half when I fetch Moo from school this afternoon I need my wellies on along with my tutu as it’s throwing it down 🙂
Hahahaha!! knitting yarn across a scratchy netting is not good ;-/ I’m sure your statement dress code for the day will go down a storm – I’m sure the young mums will be grabbing copies of Vogue to check and see if it’s the new Spring fashion must have look!!!!
I don’t that look has quite hit vogue yet …give it time LOL
…it will no doubt!! 😀
LOL
Oh, I love blue and green together! I use them a lot! I guess I’m not the only one. 🙂
Thank You Rrita 🙂 Blues and greens work really well together don’t they! I think my favourite is a bright pea green and vibrant turquoise blue, it’s a really happy combination 🙂
