For the past few days I have immersed myself back into artistic mode, key ingredients were;…One blue Pencil Crayon, One 20 x 16 inches sheet of Textured Watercolour Paper, pencil sharpener and a good rummage around my mind LOL Enjoy !!
The final result is the first in a new series I have planned, of new and exciting Cubism Style Abstract Doodle Art 😉
This is brilliant! ❤ Truly.
Can't wait to see more.
I want to apologise before you see my most recent post. You were uppermost in my mind today because I have broken my habit of not buying things over the internet. I've made excuses to you about not being able to afford your fabulous creations. I don't want you to think that I didn't mean the things I've said over the months (years?) here on your blog. I think you are UBER-talented. I love your creations and I wish I could buy them. However, I can't justify (to myself and to hubby) buying things that I can make do with uglier versions of, if you know what I mean. So with Jane's candles it was about buying something I use tonnes of (candles), supporting her new business, plus I have a soft spot for bees.
I felt wretched when I thought of you. Sorry. I hope you aren't offended.
Oh my Dear Sarah, nothing of the sort even entered my head, you daft thing…I’m certainly not offended in the least:-) I don’t expect anyone to buy what I put up (if someone ever does it’s a bit of a bonus ans a shock most times lol) I value your friendship and wouldn’t want you to stress about things like that EVER! I’m so happy that you have those beautiful candles winging their way to you and you cracked the shell of internet buying too just every now and then anyways ;-D
PS Sorry…I completely forgot to thank you so much for your lovely comments Sarah…I was so shocked that you even thought I might feel that way xx
So, so glad to hear that Caren. You are a wonderful person. I value your friendship too so I didn’t want something like this to spoil it. I should have known you’d react like this (silly me); you’re such a special woman. I will enjoy the candles so much more now. 😀
We all think silly or random daft thoughts at times, me too especially…surely you can tell how my mind works from the current art lol :-D…and, most certainly our friendly banter could never be spoilt by anything of the like!! Now you go and enjoy those beautiful candles when they arrive…. 😉
Thanks Caren, you’re a star. 😀
Caren my dearest – your work is absolutely out of this world, I have to confess to feelings of utter amazement …(tinged with a smidgen of the green eyed monster) when I see just how talented you are, I’m excited to delve deeper into your mind to see exactly what lives in there LOL
OMGoodness What an amazing comment 😀 Thank you so much Roma!!! Thank heavens someone else wants to go in there….can I come too?? I’ve always wanted to go, but needed a hand to hold onto, in case I got lost forever…in the excitement of it all…LOL…bet if we do go,we’ll both come out with blue pencil crayon smudges 😉
The way to enter your mind safely is to tie a rope to your wrist which can be firmly tugged when you need hauling back to reality …the same principle applies when entering my crafting den 🙂
LOL…OK!! Roped up and ready for off…back soon, hopefully??!!
I thinking you are the most artistically clever person I know
That is such a lovely compliment Sue 😀 Thank you so much!!
You deserve it Caren.
You are so lovely, Thank you Sue 🙂
it’s great!!! and it looks a little like the abstract art I once saw from a russian artist… I tried to get it via bidding but sadly my wallet was too small…. :o)
Thank so much for your lovely comment! BUT…Oh No!!! you sound like you have a wallet just like mine ;-/ better luck next time hopefully!!
Fantastic! Real eye-catcher, for long. Very good contrast and sharpness, too. for a pencil – I was sure it’s blue ink!
Thank you so much Joanna, it was great fun to draw and am looking forward to doing a few more for the series too 🙂 Definitely was only a pencil crayon, maybe because it was done on textured watercolour paper, it gives the impression of deep and diluted ink, perhaps 😉
