A Very Happy New Year to Everyone!! 🙂
To open Blogging in 2016 I thought I would start off the year with a happy face, well, I think it looks happy :-)!!.. and return to creating some of my little multi-pocket pouches, each with their own uniqueness and quirky features.
My little Origami fabric folded padded pouch designs have proved to be very popular, also, a fun way to get back into creative crafting for the new season!
A neat little reverse view and showing off the hand twisted cord fastener
Propped up on a pencil to give an overview of the eight varying sized pockets
And lastly, a little look with the double flaps open…
Who would have thought two printed fabrics and a few buttons could merge to form such a cute character?!!
A multi-pocket with multi-uses….
….Some have bought them as cosmetic pouches/make-up bags, perfect to keep all those beauty products separated in their own compartment
…Some have bought them as craft tool storage
…someone even purchased a couple to keep a little ones’s activity board pieces in!
…There may be many other uses I don’t even know about?!… But, I do know, festivities and celebrations over, family gone back to their lives, my workplace is now back up and running…YAY! 😀
I love to see how you bring a piece of fabric to life, congratulations on having your workspace back
Oh My Dear, you don’t know how much I missed it! To have my space back uninterrupted is heaven 😉
I bet !! no doubt the creative bug has been whirling around like a Tasmanian Devil trying to capture your attention – now you have your workspace AKA your ‘studio’ back it can rest awhile as you catch up on all the hints clues and tips the bug has left in it’s wake
That bug certainly has left a long list of things in my head, that’s the trouble when actual creativity grinds to a halt for Christmas…I seem to have en extensive new catalogue in my mind, now it’s just a case of deciding which exciting things to get on with next 😉
Such a pleasure to see all your new little commissioned Layette pieces 🙂
I love to see how your creative mind show cases your ‘Bugs’ list, I should think even you are amazed at what ideas crop up 🙂
You’re not wrong there, I never cease to be amused at some of the things my brain churns out! I think really I am just an automaton to my mind’s amusement 😉
Hahahaha I have visions of the ‘Smash Robots’ being in charge of your daily life, sending you off in tangents as they see fit
That could be precisely the reason I trundle unwittingly around my workspace whilst in the middle of doing something- thank goodness now I know why !!
I sometimes wonder if my nemesis sits outside the cottage with a remote control which governs my movements …which would explain quite a lot LOL
LOL In that case, I wonder if we all have one????! LOL
So cute. And very clever.
Thank You Sue for your lovely comments 🙂
that’s just great, I bet my piggie-friend Bacon would love iot :o)
Aw thanks so much, it’s nice to know they are liked 🙂
I love these pouches! They really come in handy! 🙂
Thanks so much Jackie! It’s great to know a simple fun creation can have so many uses 🙂
Origami with fabric. What a great idea. Hubby said – after Christmas – that he fancied an origami book for Christmas next year. Think I might buy him one for his birthday. Then I can pinch it! 🙂
LOL 😀 We should all take your lead and buy our other half’s what we really want! 😉
🙂
These are so clever, I marvel at how you get such good ideas and then manage to find the perfect combination of fabrics to pull it off so brilliantly.
Thanks so much Sheila 🙂 to be honest I am just working in the main for things like this with fabric already in my stash, so it’s a case of find one piece then search through for a coordinating/contrasting second piece – great way to reduce the stash pile, but then the product pile is getting ever larger on t’other side of the room LOL ;-/
