Sometimes I do wonder what goes on in my head…???…well here is one of those moments :-D… A few hours of pencil pushing to produce a Polar Penguin picture…Isn’t imagination fun??!! 😀
Aw! Cute. Guess even penguins needs scarves sometimes 🙂
Thanks so much Bekki.
LOL …if they weren’t imaginary, I’d pass on your link for future scarves 😉
Thank you 😉
😀
And these cuties…. and with the imaginary polar landscape! :@)
I think your piggy snout smile is a lovely sign of cuteness :@)
They are beautiful!
Aw Thank you so much Joanna 🙂
I’m soooooooooo pleased you and your pencils are the best of friends once more, your latest little offering is beyond adorable 🙂
Awww thank you Mrs. P what a lovely comment – I have a smile from ear to ear :-)!! It did get a bit silly when I thought about drawing in an Aurora, but hey, nothing tried nothing gained, and I considered no too are ever the same, so give it a go, having seen the before and after I think it kind of finishes off the little scene 🙂
In my humble art critic opinion the Aurora was indeed the way to go !! so your brave decision was well worth the effort 🙂
Aw thank you Mrs. P 🙂 As an avid art collector yourself I do value your opinion….plus, it would have been a heck of a job to rub all that graphite off if you had said otherwise LOL 😀
Your drawings are fab Caren! I love how you managed to do the Southern Lights so well in black and white. I’m having fun looking at some of your old posts too. 😀
Sarah Thank You ever so much ❤ not only for your lovely comments, which I really do appreciate …but for also raising my viewing stats by 300% LOL ;-D
It really was quite a challenge to do the Aurora in black and white, it kind of gives the impression I hoped for, though to be honest…it was kind of make most of it up as you go along. Something I really should have practised on the side first, before going all guns blazing(or should I say all pencils scribbling??). But overall I am very happy how it turned out 😀
Thanks again for all the view and likes! I do hope you have a lovely weekend on Woodland Trail… to……….?? 😉
Excellent, and Highly Original, my Dear Caren! I had not been able to make just what it was that seemed to be masking their faces. But clicking on the picture and seeing the higher resolution cleared all that.
As I said, Excellent, and Highly Original! So that is the Pole, eh? Even the Penguins need Scarves! 🙂
Thank you so much for visiting and your lovely comments too!
I do like to be as original and quirky as I can when creating something new…be it, art or craft, and, this little piece was a great graphite challenge to myself, but I was so happy with the end result 🙂
And You have given Us much Happiness, my Dear Caren! Thank You very much for that! 🙂
Your words are so kind Thank You 🙂
🙂
