I started Large…A 16 x20 inch mounted pencil portrait…….to give extra detail! Sometimes, as an artist…it’s just nice to touch base with the simpler things in life, like a piece of paper and a pencil! 🙂 Though, the paper is of the exquisite kind – 100% cotton, rough grade 140lbs/300g/sq m which I thinks added a lot of texture to the finished pieces!
Recently, I did a little gift swap with another WP blogger, MRS. P, From the wonderful craftodessey!
Part of it was for a little requested pencil sketch of my adorable heritage bunny, which Mrs P had insisted I must have (who was I to pass up such an opportunity ???)……….. when it arrived – with a surprise unexpected little companion, knitted Lamb! My little bunny was given to me with a lovely letter telling me about her history. She was sent to be my new apprentice from the Workhouse. The two little sketches I did for Mrs. P of her lovingly handmade and gifted (to me) knitted bunny, Wallis Russell and Lamb. Which The RM Postie delivered just yesterday as her surprise 🙂
Carried away by the moment – I seem unable to stop at the one I first thought I would do…..After all it is always nice to get an extra surprise!! 😀

OMGoodness, is my Martian dialect THAT obvious when I type??? Naturally some of this must have rubbed off on me when Jen was doing her PhD about Mars LOL 😀
By all means put the art on Etsy, they would be perfect in a nursery, whereas I don’t sell my rabbits as toys only as collectables due to the small buttons, as long as you give me credit for the rabbit in your description and a link to my store go for it.
As for your Martian dialect all I could picture was the ‘Smash’ advert 🙂

Hope you will be dusting your tiara off soon for your acceptance speech, I have to get mine out of the pawn brokers …I’ll wear to take K9 for a walk and while I potter around with my feather duster then it’ll have to go back 😦
LOL Goodness only knows where you will get the coppers from to have the loan of your tiara back for this momentous occasion….hope you don’t have to pledge Mr. P as security though!! … at least you have planned in for a traipse around The Green before it goes back once more 😉
I even slung my designer peg bag over my arm for my strut round the green, my profile has never been so high with ‘The Village Ladies’
I can just imagine all the tongues wagging behind lace hankies as you pass by…especially about the peg bag that is LOL …I’m sure the bunny trafficking/postmistress/postie saga is also gathering speed around the village too 😀
I find jealousy is sooo rife, I’m sure it wasn’t my tiara, or the peg bag cum evening bag that caused the comments but K9 skidding across the green on his back trying the new au de cologne ‘Fox / Deer’ that seemed in ample doses sprinkled about, other than that I’m sure my apparel was entirely appropriate I mean I had my new hiking boots on for goodness sake 🙂
…thank goodness for your new hiking boots… or K9 could have been dragging you along for a free perfume sampling session too LOL…I expect everyone gave him a wide berth till he’d been in the pipeline for another bath ?? 😉
Why oh why do dogs feel the need to roll in *stuff* I wonder what on earth it smells like to them ? with their sense of smell you would think they would give it a wide birth !!!!!
Their extremely powerful nose MUST be able to detect something much nicer beyond whatever we can…Or at least I would hope…?!? ;-/
The undertones of hay, blackberries and oats, with an after taste of carrot must be what we are missing
Now, if you had said …. Juniperberrries ?? No! Even I’m convinced it still wouldn’t ….Hmmmm, now I’m really not sure??? Would it?! ;-/ LOL

So, for now, it’s make what’s at hand 😀
