My Super cute applique felt patchwork dog design throw pillow/Cushion cover.
Finished yesterday, though, after adding a few more quirky items – In plenty of time for Christmas..;-) – to my Etsy shop, I’ve only just gotten around to posting!…After spending much of the day out in the garden, What a beautiful day it’s been, a mixture of monstrously dark threatening clouds and masses of sunshine at the same time with not a drop of rain!! 🙂
Super cute dog square from a section of preprinted fabric was again the inspiration to create a centre feature panel for the strikingly colourful cushion.
My fabric and felt version of the small printed square is approximately 10.5 inches and the red floral fabric from my stash was as close a match as I could find to the little square version, though I think it worked out well 😉 A couple of felt flowers with button centres and a little hand stem stitching before quilting over the whole panel to finish.

And…not forgetting the quirky ‘knitting chicken’ cushion cover wearing her brass ring specs!! 😀
After another busy day – there’s never a bored moment!! – I need to try and organise my random creative ideas into some kind of order…or who knows what jumbled creation might pop up next 😉

Your quota of stout seems to be working wonders for your creativity, I love them all , I think the bees & bear is just too cute, not to mention a knitting chicken 🙂 you do seem to be working your way through the animal kingdom in your quilting quest ❤
The outdoors was just too nice to miss out on 😉 I did at least think about gardening… and, sat pondering shall I/shan’t I …?? in the deck chair for a good long while……..but just ended up with a brew instead LOL
Now you mention it, I do seem to be animal mad atm, not intentional, just the way things have happened as I’ve stumbled across long forgotten purchases (How terrible is that ;-/??), but, I must try and find a way to include an Ardwark or maybe a Gnu at some point LOL I shall store my Wonder Woman tights and cape away tomorrow and get back to some serious business ;-D

As for long forgotten purchases Beloved wants me to sort out a cupboard, there is a box in there of mine I dread to think what I have stashed away ..I hope its something good

LOL!! A bit like the couple of cushions I recently uploaded. I used to have separate stock for fairs and Etsy , but eventually the other day got around to starting to sort things out!!
Oh the intrigue ;-)????????…I’m surprised you can keep your nose out of the box??? let alone your Beloved having to coax you to sort it out?! Is there perhaps some long hidden tragic buys??…or maybe some bad vibe yarns??…..I need to know!! LOL I’m sure I will not sleep this weekend without the answers ;-D
The box should see the light of day this afternoon, I can’t reach it due to the size of the opening of the cupboard…I’ll possibly do a post on the contents, unless I’ve been saving a pile of long lost rubbish of course

I love your new creations. Very cute. The earlier sausage dog was great too but this dog is my absolute favourite.

The sausage dog is great as he is – the one with the patched eye just tickled me more. I like dogs with eye patches.
