…why not?? If they are popular as framed collages…again, why not make them a mobile piece of art too!? Fun, eye catching, colourful creations, bound to bring attention and definitely a talking point…..and, as always, uniquely one of a kind! Taking patchwork to another level of quirkiness π

New Tote designs for 2015!! Quirky, ever so cute and designed to bring a bit of fun to every day π whether a crafter, a cleric or a chorister if you’ve no inhibitions, this could be for you! Unique and never to be repeated…I just love to recreate my original ideas into a new context! Practical, pretty, and, in this case, pink! A rich, raspberry coloured cotton fabric lovingly hand crafted into a useful tote bag…imagination has no bounds!!! ;-D
A useful multi-pocket inside with the benefit of a zip fastener to secure valuable items

A simple, but effective hand quilted diamond pattern over the entirety of the raspberry coloured fabric and to finish off, a magnetic clasp topped with a chunky black button!
In these hard times….mine, is to add a little fun to the world!
Happy Easter to each and ALL! π
Love the colour, every cleric in the country should have one LOL
Wouldn’t it just bring a whole new fun feel to the sermon arriving!!!!!!!!…and, I’m sure it would give the cleric a wonderful feel good factor too π
Love how you cunningly designed your stunningly crafted tote to accentuate the Bishops Robes, http://www.churchrobesstore.com/assets/images/bishop-robes3.jpg there is more to this designing malarkey than first meets the eye LOL, pray do tell, do you have a new range aimed at the Mother Superior ??
π …not many would have got the connection, I’m sure…I tell you this, design malarkey can be very hard work at times!! I shall put my thinking cap on and inspect my black and white stash to see what I can come up with for Mother Superior’s new season style must have…. π
I also love the color! It looks great as a tote bag. π
PS Happy Easter! I’m sorry I’m a little late!
Please don’t worry, I was a little on the late side too, as long as you have had a lovely weekend, that’s all that matters !!! π
I did! It was really lovely. π
Thanks so much Jackie! π It was a piece of fabric I bought to make the Jemima Puddle Duck cape for the twins, as I had to buy a minimum amount frothe store, I had rather a lot left over after the tiny sections I needed, and it seemed a shame not to use it as the colour is even nicer than the picture shows. I am really happy it turned out so well! π
You should be – it turned out wonderful! π
Such a great design as usual and quirky as ever (in a good way!). How lovely to have leftovers to play with – scraps always manage you to make you more creative don’t they?
I’ll take quirky as a compliment EVERYTIME!! Thanks Sheila π It’s true….I feel I’m always at my best when thinking what to do with the little bits left from other projects
