It would seem I have been away from posting forever! I have been super busy over the past few weeks creating and working on a couple of commissioned lap quilts – more on those in a few days – when they arrive at their new homes!:-)
Anyway, in between, I have been using up small fabric pieces I had left over, to create a trio of cute characters, as you see I called them ‘fishy friends’. Having drawn my own templates for the little sea creatures I set to snipping, sewing and stuffing them all. I think they are… Soooo cute! Perfect for brightening up just about anywhere as little hanging decorations! Even my husband has ear marked a set for his work van! Should be a good talking point for all the builders when they see them!!! But at least it has sorted out what he is having forΒ a birthday present now! π
As ever, I couldn’t help myself – so I made a few more sets π
How cute, if they are good enough to be seen out in public in a works van they are darned well manly to boot π I think every working chap should be seen in the company of a seahorse or two
LOL! In that case, I look forward to a flood of orders from the male population soon! π
Have you thought of filling them with catnip (the feline drug of choice I’m lead to believe from the tinternet) or lavender … the choice for “Ladies” or inventing a range of masculine fragrances (Beloved would buy anything that had the smell of oak) Gelfling Grandson has “issues” surrounding chocolate so that fragrance would be most welcome in his eyes LOL
All brilliant ideas, I agree! There are definitely niches in the market for adding smelly things inside creations as I have and do with my Lavender Ladies

Which is great if only selling locally at craft fairs and the like
The only trouble selling them on Etsy or other worldwide selling sites is the problems of what some countries allow or more to the point not allow through customs!
By the way, do all your handbags, shoes and clothing come from a range specially stored in Oak wardrobes at the fashion boutiques you frequent??? LOL! π
This is sweet! For me, I would choose blue or pink, or… I don’t know. All of them π
π You feel the same as I do, I love them all too!
