‘Turton Tower’
This is my Pen and Ink version of ‘Turton Tower’ done from the photograph I took. Previously, I have posted Pencil Drawing – Turton Tower, Bolton . It really is a beautiful Tudor building. I was lucky enough to meet a lovely, elderly lady, who told me many tales of what it was like living there. Her parents were the caretakers of the estate, some 70 years ago, when she was a little girl. She considers herself very fortunate to have had such an idyllic childhood, and realises now she is older, just how lucky she was.
