Here is another of my ‘Doorstop Dumpies’ which I created and designed the patterns for myself. This is in fact the first owl I made from my pattern. It was made for my Daughter after she graduated from Oxford University with her Master’s Degree. That is where the wise old owl and the sub fusk idea came from and I used this as inspiration in the design of my ‘Doorstop Dumpy’. As you will see in other posts in this section, I have made other owls from my pattern but no two are exactly the same, making them all unique!
You know I was thinking about these yesterday. I can finally open the windows in my apartment which creates quite a cross breeze which in turns makes my bedroom door slam shut rather loudly. As soon as that happened I thought I need one of those door thingies [couldn’t remember the name] from Caren’s website! This one in particular would look awesome in my room. Can’t wait till you have an Etsy shop! 😀
You could potentially be my first customer hehe 🙂 Hopefully my Etsy shop will be open before you end up having to close all your doors for the winter Jackie. Having computer problems at the moment which is not helping with my new site. 😦
Oh dear! Computers problems are no fun at all. I hope you get things worked out soon. As far as when the Etsy shop opens – it doesn’t matter cause if that does happen there is always next summer. 😀
Thank You Jackie, it is very reassuring to know I haven’t lost my potential first customer, as we all know Patience is a Virtue! 🙂
